Interview of Mr. Ashok Atri, Director- Delhi Infratech Limitd
Q1) When and why you started Delhi Infratech Limited?
A1) I always want to do something for the city, born and brought-up in Delhi in an unauthorised colony. I have seen the difference between authorised and unauthorised colony since childhood, and to make life well organised, planned, developed colony was the dream which persuaded me to opt this profession. When I came back to Delhi from Kanpur after completing my mechanical engineering I didn’t noticed much change. If you go outside Delhi or any metro city you will not find much development and in some areas there is nothing. Even in Delhi you will barely find high rise building throughout the city. Being national capital Delhi itself is not a planned city. Unauthorised construction, encroachments, over population and ailing infrastructure are some of the basic problems of the city. Reason for learning engineering was to build something for a common man. Owning a house in Delhi is still dream for many. I want to serve them and want to build for them so that they call a place in Delhi as their home. So in 2000 I started my professional journey with a partnership firm in 2000 named as Delhi Structures which evolved in Delhi Infratech Limited in the year 2010.
Q2) What are the responsibilities you handle in DIL?
A2) I am responsible for the timely accomplishment of many projects in the Delhi and NCR region on a regular basis. I lead and manage different departments of our organization to facilitate every core business activity be it in the production section or in the marketing department. In the last many years, I have made contributions to the rise of Delhi Infratech which have also benefited a lot in the upliftment of our employees and growth of our customers. I have always incorporated various innovative ideas and technologies which are quite essential for every growing business and industry at large.
Q3) What makes DIL different from other players in the market of real estate industry?
A3) Before entering into this business we worked as builder and with 20 years of experience, we own everything which is need for construction and development and it is a big advantage. We tame the cushion price between developer and developer, so our prices will be lesser than others which. Ultimately buyer will be getting better quality at lesser price.
Q4) How many projects do company has delivered till date?
A4) We have delivered 19 projects till date and will be delivering 5 more by the end of this financial year.
Q5) What are the up-coming projects of company?
A5) There are two major projects on which company is focusing for now. One is De-Nest which is situated Mandi Hills, Gurugram-Faridabad Expressway, bordering the outer skirts of Delhi. Another is Delhi Aangan situated at Chanchal Park, Nangloi which is close to NH 10 and CRPF Camp. Construction of both the projects will commence this year. We are also positive that both the projects will be completed in 2019 and buyers will celebrate Dipawali in their new homes in the year 2019.
Q6) What is your dream project?
A6) My project is yet to come.
Q7) What is so unique about De-Nest?
A7) De-Nest is unique and first of kind concept. Nest shape designed class of art apartments are fine blend of elegance, luxury and comfortable living. These Studio, 1,2,3, and 4 BHK fully furnished service apartments and will have all the modern amenities. We are also offering 3D floor tiles which are also one of the USP of this project.
Q8) Why one would invest in your projects?
A8) There are many factors which differentiate us from the other player in market. Quality product at a cheaper price which no one is offering, timely delivery are the two major factors which will persuade and attract buyers towards our projects. Apart of this client satisfaction is the utmost priority of the company.
Q9) How Delhi Infratech Ltd is adding value to the real estate market? What vision drives your company?
A9) Delhi Infratech Limited envisions becoming a household name with its quality and reliable services in future. In future company ensures to follow business ethics, integrity, original planning and transparent transactions in all aspects of business functioning.
Q10) Do you plan to expand to other markets outside NCR? What are your expansion plans?
A10) Yes, we have plans to expand our infrastructure market outside Delhi NCR. In future we are planning to set-up an organic farm in Madhya Pradesh and a Solar Power plant in Rajasthan. Moreover we are also entering in Hospitality Sector in north India.
